Let’s start with a conversation. We’ll learn about your vision, goals, and how you plan to use the space. We’ll also talk about your ideal budget, contractor preferences, and answer any initial questions. While we won’t have exact numbers yet, we’ll begin exploring cost expectations. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule a Site Visit.
Estimated Time: 5 - 30 minutes
Next, we’ll meet in person for a no-obligation visit to your home. During this time, we’ll take notes, photos, and videos to create a detailed picture of your current space. We will also dive into how we work and talk through some of the concepts you are interested in pursuing.Following our initial consultation, you will receive a proposal specifically tailored to your project that outlines all of the phases of the design process.
Estimated Time: 1 - 2 hours
After the Site Visit, we’ll invite you to review a tailored Design Proposal. This outlines what’s included in your specific design process—from drawings and concepts to material research and layout options—along with the investment required to move forward into Design & Development. It’s your chance to see what’s ahead before committing. We will also have a discussion about your estimated costs for your construction project.
Estimated Time: 1 hour
With the Design Proposal approved, we’ll dive into drawing out concepts and present estimates based on these concepts.
Estimated Time: 3 - 6 weeks
Once we’ve signed off on the concept of the project we will move the plans into engineering and start the selection process. This includes detailed plans, material selections, zoning/code research, and budget reviews with trade partners. We’ll keep refining the plan to ensure it reflects your goals—and stays within your budget.
Estimated Time: 3 - 16 weeks
When all design details and selections are finalized, we’ll present the Build Contract. It includes the full scope of work, payment structure, and projected timeline.
Estimated Time: 1 - 2 hours
With permits and prep complete, construction is underway. Your dedicated team will guide the process, coordinate the schedule, and keep you informed every step of the way. Our up-front planning means a smoother, more efficient build from start to finish.
